Obituary

Edward Keith Dwyer II died at the age of 78 on April 14, 2023. A funeral Mass and celebration of Ed's life will be held at the Shrine of the Holy Cross, 612 Main Street, Daphne, Alabama on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., and family and friends are invited to attend. Ed's remains will be interred at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, Louisiana, on Thursday, May 11, 2023. A funeral liturgy followed by a Rite of Committal will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Edward Keith Dwyer II attended De La Salle High School and Louisiana State University-New Orleans (LSUNO). He worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., Ocean Drilling & Exploration Co. (ODECO), and KPMG Peat Marwick. He also served in the United States Army.

Edward Keith Dwyer II was born on February 19, 1945. He resided in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Fairhope, Alabama.

Edward Keith Dwyer II is survived by his wife, Martha Burris Dwyer, his daughter Erin Coleen Dwyer, his brother Lawrence Hugh Dwyer, Jr., his sister Anne Dwyer Walle, his sister Edith Dwyer L'Hoste, his daughter-in-law Bonnie Dwyer, his son Edward "Keith" Dwyer, his son Ryan "Duffy" Dwyer, and his grandchildren Aisling Maher, Cian Healy, and Miles Dwyer.
