He was a genuine New Orleans musician who played piano in many hotels and clubs throughout New Orleans and other parts of the United States. He often performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in France and hotels in Switzerland and Singapore. His international performances were most frequent in Japan, his wife's home country.
