Obituary

Aniko A. Von Hadnagy passed away of natural causes on Monday, June 20, 2022, in River Ridge, Louisiana at the age of 81. Aniko is the beloved daughter of Endre Von Hadnagy and Magdolna Simonyi Von Hadnagy, who both preceded her in death. She arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana in August 1949 from Budapest, Hungary with her grandmother, Aurelia Keleman Simonyi, mother, and two siblings, Zsuzsi Von Hadnagy Schroeder (George) and Andrew Von Hadnagy. She is also survived by her children, Donald Tusa (Shawn), Andrew Hale (Cyndi), and Jay Tusa (Aleis), grandchildren, Shalin Tusa, Brittany Tusa (Adam), Courtney Maloney (Charles), Thomas Hale, William Tusa, and Katie Tusa, and great-grandchildren, Caden Drake, Wes Dubuc, Kelly Dubuc, Lance Dubuc, Isabelle Maloney, and Deacon Maloney. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Aniko's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
