Obituary
Ronald L. Capo went to his heavenly father on January 5, 2022. The days before his death he spent quality time with his family. Ronald was born in New Orleans, LA on December 6, 1942. He went to St. James Major School in Gentilly. Ronald retired from RTA New Orleans after 44 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his parents Alonzo A. Capo and Ethel T. Capo; as well as his beloved spouse Ronda B. Capo. Ronald was married to Ronda for 56 years. Ronald is survived by his sister Melusine C. Gardere and her spouse Walter Gardere; daughter Robin C. Esquerre spouse of Christopher Esquerre and three of Ronald's grandchildren Ethan Esquerre (spouse of Olivia Esquerre), Evan Esquerre, and Isabel Esquerre; his son Ronald L. Capo Jr. with significant other Carmen Gonzales and grandchild of Ronald Lakynn Tomingas; his brother-in-law Joseph Baxter and spouse Renee Baxter. Ronald was a 4th degree member of the Knights Of Columbus and a member of St. Jane De Chantal Catholic Church in Abita Springs, LA where he assisted in the preparation of the St. Joseph Alter for several years. Ronald had a memorable personality and a gift to amuse people with his fun stories. He never had a loss for words. Ronald will forever be in our hearts. Visitation and mass open to his family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Jane De Chantal Catholic Church in Abita Springs 10:30 am - 12 noon, mass at 12 noon.
