Obituary

Beth B. Norris passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, at the age of 56 with her family by her side. Beth was born on May 25, 1966 in New Orleans. She is the daughter of Lorraine Schmidt Douglas (late Donald) and James E. Bonnet (Sylvia).

Beth was adored by her husband, Don Norris, with whom she shared 33 years. She is survived by her son, Blake Adam Norris; daughters, Tessa Norris Domingo (John Michael) and Nicole Norris Schultis (Jonathan); granddaughter, Meadow Schultis; and beloved Frenchie, Neo. She is preceded in death by her brother, Steven J. Bonnet.

Beth was an alumni of Archbishop Chapelle High School (class of 1984). She started her nursing career as an LPN and went on to attain a Masters of Science in Nursing from Loyola University in 2010. During her thirty-five-year nursing career, Beth worked her way from a hands-on clinical staff member to Chief Nursing Officer, giving her a diverse background in many areas of specialty including inpatient and outpatient services. Beth ended her career as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Beth was most happy spending time with her family. Her smile and laughter will never be forgotten, and she will live in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Beth’s life on Thursday, October 13th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, La 70005. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with mass to follow. Burial immediately following at St. Joseph Abbey. The family encourages friends to donate blood in honor of Beth’s fight against Multiple Myeloma.
