Obituary

Charlotte Duffy Ratley was called home to live in the eternal loving arms of our Lord and Savior on August 21, 2021 in Covington, LA. She was born on May 20, 1957 in New Orleans, LA to the late Charles Gavin Duffy, Jr. and Amy Charlotte Frederick Duffy. Charlotte was the beloved wife of Stephen Craig Ratley for 38 years. She was the loving mother of Amy Janelle Ratley Roks (Patrick) and the late Christopher Brent Ratley. Charlotte was the proud grandmother of Thomas Wade Roks, Avery Grace Roks, and Christopher Brent Tetera. She was the sister of Elizabeth Ann Duffy Brown and the late Gregory Gavin Duffy. Charlotte passed peacefully with her family close by her side. She was a gentle, kind and loving mother and grandmother and a devoted wife. A million years would not have been enough time with her, but we will cherish every moment we had until we meet again. Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services. A Private Memorial Mass will be held by the family at St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, Abita Springs, LA. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA.
