Obituary

onald William Noggerath passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born on November 16, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to William Noggerath and Josephine Dicarlo Noggerath. He is survived by his wife, Carol Gowland Noggerath; children, Rhonda Thonn (Chris), Stephen Michael Noggerath (Rosalia) and David Paul Noggerath (Joan); brothers, Richard Noggerath, Frederick Noggerath, and John Noggerath; sister, Ann Soule; grandchildren, Brandon Noggerath, Christian Thonn, Evan Noggerath, Austin Noggerath, Nicholas Noggerath, and Emily Noggerath; great grandchildren, Grayson Thonn, Margaret Noggerath, Hannah Noggerath, Liam Thonn, Molly Noggerath, Hunter Noggerath and Stella Thonn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Noggerath. Ronald was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and furthered his studies at Loyola University and the University of New Orleans. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Abbey Church, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA 70457 on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
