He was born in Greenville, MS on August 30, 1966, to Harold Mahlon Vesper, Sr. and Nancy Amelia Mangialardi Vesper. He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Guerino and Mafalda Mangialardi, Dorothy Helen Zillmer and Harold Liston Vesper. He proudly served active duty in the United States Army as a Bradley fighting vehicles systems mechanic and track vehicle recovery specialist in Operation Desert Storm. After being honorably discharged, he worked in the automotive industry, was an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician and for the last 7 years was an Automotive Mechanic Instructor at Northshore Technical Community College in Hammond, LA. Harold was family oriented, loving, kind, humble, caring, and loyal. From a young age, Harold developed the talent of investigating how things worked which he honed by taking apart almost anything he could find, often to the dismay of his parents, but he developed the ability and knowledge to put them back together with a skill that was truly remarkable. His true passion was teaching the next generation of mechanics for the automotive industry. Harold was unique, well respected and loved, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Veterans organization of your choice.
