Joseph Clement Algero Jr. , beloved husband of Audrey Algero for 61 years passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023 surrounded by his family. Joseph, 79, was born November 23, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Joseph Algero Sr. and Louise Algero. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Audrey Otillio Algero; His Sister, Ione Power; his Children: Joseph Algero III (Kim), Michael Algero Sr. (Leslie), Dr. Christopher Algero Sr.(Jennifer), Stephen Algero Sr. (Claire), and Patrice Ellzey (Steven); His Grandchildren: Megan Purvis(Will), Brittany Algero, Michael Algero Jr.(Marley), Christopher Algero Jr., Kristen Algero, Meredith Hineline(Frank), Tucker Algero, Nicholas Algero Sr. (Morgan), Rebecca Cannady(Landon), Sarah Ellzey, Jennifer Algero, Ryan Ellzey, Catherine Algero, Matthew Algero, Fiona Bono, Mia Uddo, Cameron Algero, Benjamin Ellzey, Brianna Algero, and Audrey Algero; And His Great-Grandchildren: Austin Asher, James Purvis, Liam Purvis, Michael Algero III, Eloise Algero, Nicholas Algero Jr., and Brayden Algero. Joseph joins the heavenly presence of many loved ones, including his granddaughter Hannah Ellzey. For the majority of his life, Joseph was a resident of New Orleans establishing an electrical contracting company that bore his name. After raising his family in the venerable Saint Roch neighborhood, Joe and Audrey moved to Waveland Mississippi, until moving to Orlando, Florida shortly after Hurricane Katrina. Simply, Joseph was a good man that had a profound impact on so many people. The legacy he leaves behind, is a large, loving family, who will carry his memory with them.
