Obituary

Robert James “Bobby” Mayeux III passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023. He was born in Lecompte, LA on August 23, 1944.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Keren Wenn Mayeux; his daughter, Meghan Mayeux Parker (James); his grandchildren, Nolan James Parker and Rylee Jane Parker. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas Mayeux (Debbie) and Willie (Bill) Mayeux and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eloise Dutton Mayeux and Robert Mayeux.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by Egan Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery will be private.
