MARIE LABAT OBITUARY
Marie M. Labat resident of Bush, Louisiana passed away December 1, 2022, at the age of 80. Marie was born in New Orleans to Edward and Marie Michel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Edward Michel and her Daughter Sandy Burtchaell. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband Louis D. Labat Jr., Sons Roy Burtchaell, Alan Burtchaell Stepchildren Louis Labat, June Labat, Tammy Duplantis, Mike Duplantis, Michelle Labat, Michael Labat and Kristi Labat along with ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Marie was a long-time parishioner of St. Benedicts Catholic Church. She also enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and family was very important to her.
Services will be held Monday December 12, 2022, at St. Benedicts Catholic Church 20370 Smith Rd, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass to begin at 12:00 p.m.
