LUDMILA HRUŠKA OBITUARY
Ludmila (Lida) Hruška was surrounded by the love of God and her family as she passed away on July 8, 2022. She is survived by her beloved husband Captain Francis Hruška, her children Zuzana, Daniela, spouse Robert Davis, and Martin, spouse Colleen Hruška. Lida is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews in Slovakia. Born in Kamenany, Slovakia, Lida married in 1958 and traveled to numerous countries, including a lengthy residence in West Africa. The family moved to the U.S. in 1977 and settled in Covington, LA. Lida loved people and found great joy in helping others. She loved singing and cooking with her friends in local senior centers. She also enjoyed gardening and making pottery. A devout Catholic, Lida was a long-time member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel, Covington, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
